Jazz and Blues Paintings

Guy's interest in the Jazz and Blues subject matter dates back to his college years at UCLA when he heard and saw many Jazz Icons at Hermosa beach in southern California in the 1960's.  His love of the art form was later reinforced by many late night (and early mornings) spent in Jazz clubs in the U.S. and Europe.   He has painted many jazz and blues icons, including Billie Holiday, Dizzy Gilespie, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Sarah Vaughn, Mahalia Jackson and Louis Armstrong.  He currently has a one man show featuring this series at Fine Things Art and Antiques.
