“Saturday Night at the Rex -1912,” , is based on photographs of the Rex at
that time. The figures are based on vintage photos of Montana saloon
scenes, grange dances and other events, says artist W.A. Guy. The grizzled
visage at left was the basis for the old timer in the bottom left of the
painting.
